Livin Joy released songs mainly focused on House, R&B and Pop. Their most known songs being ‘Dreamer’ and ‘Don’t Stop Movin’.
The most popular song ‘ Dreamer’ reached the ‘ Billboard Hot 100 ‘ in the late ‘90s, it peaked at number 72 and spent seventeen weeks on the charts. The song had better success in the UK, hitting number one after being reissued. In its original run in ‘94 it made it to Number 18, spending six weeks straight in the UK top 100.
‘Don’t Stop Movin’’ stayed at number five in the UK top 100 for 14 weeks straight, becoming a huge UK summer hit. The song also topped the Italian charts in ‘96 and peaked at number three on the US dance chart in early ‘97.
Livin Joy had multiple other tracks. Other tracks being ‘Deep in You’, ‘Where Can I Find Love’ these took a completely different turn, because they had more of an R&B feel, which was different for Livin Joy. Another track was ‘Follow the Rules’ which peaked at No. 9 in ‘96, scoring a hat-trick of top 10s.
The song ‘Dreamer’ was re-released as a remix in 2005, which charted at No. 5 on the US dance chart straight away. Still to this day, being one of the UKs biggest & best throwback 90s tracks that everybody knows and loves.
